Mediatrix MS Series provides Master Clock Synchronization from TDM networks over IP. This is an industry-leading solution to the problem of traditional PSTN data calls over IP. By solving the PSTN clock issue, remote clock synchronization provides reliable and stable video and data VoIP calling conditions. The Mediatrix’ Master Clock Synchronisation solution utilizes a Master – Slave configuration of BRI digital gateways. The “Master” unit uses a standard clock signal from a central source and sends IpSync packets every few seconds to all the digital gateway units, allowing them to adjust their own clocks, thus synchronizing all units in a given network to one specific source.
